Basically this was a night of me flailing several times but most notably over -
Sidse Babett Knudsen who is a perfect perfect human being. She literally pranced off stage and slapped one of the guys she was with on the arse. I thought I coudn’t love her any more than I already did but I was wrong.
Helen McCrory purely for all the naked back action and just gunna say it, none of the photos I have seen so far do that dress justice. SHE LOOKED FIT. Oh and for the cackle (after everyone else had stopped laughing) I’m about 90% sure came from her when Toby Stephens said he was only booked because they thought he was Damian Lewis.
Sofie Gråbøl because during the VT when she was presenting she punched the guy she was presenting with in the stomach hahahahahaha. Yes, yes it was jokingly, but oh so bloody epic.
Oh and here’s a sneaky picture from the end when they gathered all the winners on stage…

This is the greatest episode ever.
I think I may have just died. EEEEP.

Goddamit Philip, I am more angry at you now than when you were going around murdering people! I could forgive that.. you clearly had issues, and your Lund face stroking made up for it. But this! This is unforgivable.
You don’t cheat on Birgitte. Ever. If she only has sex with you once a year, you still act bloody grateful. Because it’s Birgitte. And your still lucky!
Fuck you Philip.
I wanted Lund to turn up and shoot you again.

Borgen | episode eight | The Silly Season
This episode was amazing! It was so powerful and heartbreaking, seriously can Borgen get any better?!?!
With three men writing the show, Knudsen, who is a mother but refuses to discuss her private life, made sure that she was involved in scripting the domestic scenes. She disputed the way that Birgitte was supposed to flirt with her husband — “you do not seduce your husband of I-don’t-know-how-many years as if you are a teenager” — and was resistant to plans to emphasise a career woman’s guilt over time away from her family. “I said, ‘No, no, no. Women don’t think like that. If you have a bad conscience, either do something about it or accept it. ”
